These terms apply when you buy from So Much Scents ("we", "us") through somuchscents.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them. We are a small UK hand-poured candle, wax melt and car diffuser business based in Romford, Essex, so we have kept them as short and fair as we can.

Ordering and prices

  • All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Current prices: candles £20, wax melts 3 for £5, car diffusers £7.50 or 2 for £10.
  • We may update prices from time to time, but the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.
  • An order is accepted once your payment is confirmed. If an item sells out after you order, we will contact you and refund it in full.

Payment

Payments are taken securely through Stripe at checkout. We never see or store your card details. Your order confirmation email is your receipt.

Delivery

  • UK delivery is £3.95, and free on orders over £40.
  • Free local delivery within 10 miles of Romford, Essex — enter your postcode at checkout and it is applied automatically.
  • Europe delivery is £9.95 and the rest of the world is £14.95.
  • We hand-pour in small batches, so please allow a few working days for dispatch. You will get a confirmation email as soon as your order is on its way.
  • If a parcel arrives damaged, email us a photo within 7 days and we will replace or refund it.

Monthly melt box subscription

  • Members can subscribe to a monthly melt box at £5 per box, charged each month.
  • You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time from your account page.
  • Cancelling stops future boxes; boxes already paid for are still made and sent.

Bespoke and made-to-order items

Baby shower and wedding favours and other bespoke orders are made especially for you. We will agree the scent, quantity and design with you by email before we start, and take payment at that point. Because they are personalised, bespoke orders cannot be returned or cancelled once making has begun, unless they are faulty.

Cancelling and returning shop orders

  • Under UK consumer law you can cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it and return it unused, in its original packaging, for a refund.
  • Email us to cancel, then post the items back within 14 days. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty.
  • We refund the item price and the standard delivery charge once the return arrives. For safety and hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of used or opened wax products.
  • Faulty or damaged items are always refunded or replaced — see Delivery above. Full details are on our returns & refunds policy page.

Free samples and fragrance requests

  • One free sample per customer email address, while stock lasts. We may decline duplicate requests.
  • Fragrance requests are suggestions we love to receive — we can't promise every scent will be added, but we read every one.

Candle safety

Our candles and wax melts are decorative home fragrance products. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep away from children, pets and draughts, and follow the care card included with every order.
